His caring nature was also seen in the dedication with which he looked after his mother as she got older, as well as Uncle Jimmy Glasgow, and Aunty Finley. He did their weekly shopping, sorted out their bills, and made sure they were properly cared for in their old age. There was also his countless spontaneous acts of kindness towards family, friends and strangers. And never once did he look to take credit for this. He did it purely and simply because he believed that there is a moral duty to look after your fellow man, and to go the extra mile for them. In short, he was one of the good guys. And he is going to be sorely missed.
